Compensation based on qualifications and location. Compensation also includes a bonus and some equity.
Our client is flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/from home within the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead, and execute experience design work-streams for key products & services
- Assess, map, and envision end-to-end experiences, journeys and solutions that blend digital and human touchpoints to support, build upon, and/or transform existing workflows
- Create experience design prototypes of varying levels of fidelity to facilitate assessment, learning, and communication
- Collaborate on, contribute to, and apply insights from experience research
- Ground design solutions in an understanding of the motivations, needs, and behaviors of diverse target users
- Efficiently & iteratively create & refine design artifacts (e.g., storyboards, experience flows, interactive wireframes, content designs, visual design mockups/assets, etc.) that facilitate communication, collaboration, product evaluations/testing, and product development
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to inform product design and facilitate human centered, agile design, development, and delivery
- Craft detailed interface designs and work closely with engineering to deliver workflows and data visualizations that are beautiful, performant, accessible, extensible, and scalable
- Help define XDR methods, playbook, and best practices
- Contribute to an accessible, inclusive, and effective experience design system and pattern & asset library
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Masters or other advanced degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is a plus)
- 6+ years of professional experience in product and service design
- 2+ years of design experience in complex health care contexts (e.g., population health, clinical decision support, interdisciplinary care management, patient engagement, etc.)
- Experience and skill designing complex analytic, decision support and workflow applications
- Demonstrated experience and skill in leading, facilitating, & executing complex, iterative design workstreams with stakeholders of varying degrees of familiarity with design
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and deliver quality designs working closely with cross functional, agile product development teams
- A robust portfolio showing expertise in multiple facets (two or more) of experience design, particularly interaction design, visual design, content design, & service design
- A deep understanding of all facets of human-centered design including an ability to contribute to experience research and apply research based insights to design
- Fluency and skill with a variety of design related tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, etc.)
- Understanding of and commitment to inclusive and accessible design
- Excellent communication, facilitation, consulting, and organizational navigation skills
