Blockchain Developer Relations Advocate (Vietnamese, English, Rust, Remote)

D-ploy is an IT and Engineering Solutions company with operations throughout the EMEA region including Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, UK, as well as the APAC Region.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate technology professional to join our team as a Global Developer Advocate. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the growth and adoption of cutting-edge blockchain technology by engaging dApp and Smart Contract Developers to create real-world applications utilizing our platform.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Creativity: Demonstrates a strong ability to take ownership of the creative process in solution design and is determined to follow through with its implementation.
• Experience: Has a proven track record as a developer/engineer, successfully delivering solutions and possessing practical experience with blockchain technology.
• Tech Savvy: Shows a keen interest in emerging technologies and has proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Communication Skills: A proficient communicator who can effectively present technical ideas and concepts.

• Engaging with the community through online platforms, such as Meetups, forums, and social media.
• Collaborating with technical writers and engineers to develop code examples and proofs of concept.
• Providing feedback to product and customer success teams to inform feature development.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in fast-paced, high-quality environments, preferably in startups or consultancies.
• Possess proficiency across the full development stack, encompassing front-end, back-end, and databases.
• Exhibit understanding of blockchain technology and have prior experience with dApp and Smart Contract development.
• Have a track record of speaking at technical conferences and creating technical documentation.
• Embrace a growth mindset with a strong customer focus and a commitment to excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have experience with the Rust programming language.
• Be familiar with Github and have made open-source contributions.
• Have previous experience in Agile teams.
• Be fluent in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
• Candidates must provide a Criminal Record Extract, which must not be older than three months.

Additional Information:

• Description: This role offers flexibility to work alongside current projects or ongoing roles, making it suitable for contractors.
• Skills Needed: Proficiency in the Rust programming language and fluency in Vietnamese.
• Start Date: Flexible, depending on finding the right candidate.
• Projects: You will be involved in all development projects, acting as a liaison between developers and products.
• Responsibilities: Conduct demonstrations of new features, highlighting product functionality.
