Blockchain Intelligence Analyst

In this role you’ll be responding to a variety of hacks, scams and exploits affecting users in the Web3 space. You’ll be providing the community with valuable insights on the latest threats targeting users in crypto through posts on X and insightful, original blogs. You will also be proactive in identifying emerging threats by combining OSINT techniques with blockchain tracing to uncover information on various malicious actors. Not only will you be providing valuable insights, you will also be in a crucial position to provide unique data for CertiK’s SkyInsights tool.  Due to the nature of this role, working through unsociable hours may sometimes be required.

Requirements

• BS Degree in related fields.
• Ability to interpret on chain transactions and trace funds.
• Ability to deep dive into an investigation that spans multiple platforms.
• Combine OSINT techniques with blockchain analytics.
• Manage timely flow of on chain intelligence to users and ensure that internal documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
• Transform large amounts of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and business decision-making.
• Be able to write clear reports, and present facts and findings without bias.
• Exceptionally analytical and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong curiosity for intelligence or investigations, ideally in an open-source environment.
• Conduct security research on hacks, breaches, and other incidents.
• Experience with Data visualization 
• Experience with Python or one programming language for data analysis is a plus but not required.
• Flexible and open minded to share new ideas.
