Responsibilities

As a blockchain developer, you will design & build core components of a plethora of crypto use cases, taking a 0 to 1 approach in developing new user experiences. You'll propose new ideas on how to leverage blockchain technology for the current and future feature-set and work day-to-day with a tight-knit team. We quickly and collaboratively solve a wide range of technical and product challenges. We value engineers who are excited to take initiative and propose solutions. In that context you will have to:

• Brainstorm, evaluate, and architect using modern blockchain technologies to deliver new features and/or improve the existing infrastructure.
• Commit, maintain and extend internal documentation related to your areas of the code base.
• Leverage architectural standards to determine the architecture, technology, and tools required to deliver high quality products.
• Perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
• Ensure architectural designs are implemented and governed in line with both best practice and internal development cycles.
• Work collaboratively with product owners and managers to ensure requirements are understood, captured and prioritized.
• Work collaboratively with quality assurance engineers to ensure that systems are highly testable and built to a high standard.
• Provide architectural and design guidance to project teams, ensuring that the needs of the client are met.
• Provide leadership and direction in the development of software.
• Mentor and guide other engineers and participate in a collaborative agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer or a related field.
• Experience working with other financial technologies such as those at exchanges, banking systems or payment services.
• A good understanding of the Agile process.
• High level of autonomy with good self-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues based in multiple time zones.

Technologies (Essential)

• Solidity
• Quorum (Web3, EVM)

Even better if you… :)

• HODL Bitcoin or another crypto
• Have experience with blockchain systems (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc)
• Have remote experience
