Foundry is hiring a Web3 Business Development Coordinator
Compensation: $27k - $70k estimated

DESCRIPTION: The Business Development Coordinator is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, Staking, the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting with creating and maintaining intimate relationships with our clients. These include exchanges, wallets, aggregators, and traditional financial institutions such as brokerages and financial advisory firms. This will include being involved in deal scoping, negotiation and building out relationships both internally and externally as well as setting key success metrics and shepherding the Foundry team through achieving them.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects
- Engage with prospects, assess their needs and communicate those needs clearly internally
- Communicate Foundry value prop to prospects
- Own all components of the client life cycle – lead gen, scoping, negotiating, implementing, and optimizing
- Assist senior team members with the sales lifecycle
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Handle inbound leads and build contact lists
- Handle multiple clients at the same time
- Identify contacts and coordinate with marketing and PR to help them generate specific ads for these targets
- Initiate initial sales calls and liaison with prospects and internal Foundry Business Development and Engineering teams
- Advise in the onboarding and maintaining of clients and client relationships
- Advise the product and engineering teams on client needs
- Interact with marketing to produce relevant content associated with sales and your role
- Cold outreach via multiple mediums
- Attending in-person sales calls and conferences
Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in business development
- Experience with selling a technical product
- Ability to be autonomous in your decision-making
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- A thirst to learn
