Cofounder Blockchain Engineer / Designer

Colonia is looking for an experienced engineer (preferably management from a FANG company) with compiler capabilities or someone from academia focused blockchain scalability / design. Specifically, we're building a custom execution environment (virtual machine) and consensus mechanism that, on paper, solves the blockchain trilemma without sacrificing atomic composability. We are pre-seed and are onboarding a team member for an equal equity split (among five or six cofounders). The long-term vision is to scale at the speed of Solana to a top-10 currency, decentralized stablecoin, and DeFi ecosystem.

Colonia focuses on Blockchain / Cryptocurrency. Their company has offices in San Francisco. They have a small team that's between 1-10 employees.
