Web3 Community Manager

Solcial is a decentralised social network on Solana, we're building a platform that allows anyone to share content in a fully permissionless way, avoiding censorship, and that rewards users and content producers in a fair manner. A truely open crypto platform for social networking and monetization.

We are a globally distributed team of blockchain enthusiasts and we're looking for a community manager to join our team.

Location: Anywhere (fully remote).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Moderating social media channels (discord server and telegram group mainly until our launch)
• Planning and posting social media content. Build hype around announcements.
• Building brand awareness and trust in the community
• Actively engaging with the community on social media through comments and DMs
• Reaching out to potential KOL/Influencer partners
• Studying trends and implementing ways to increase engagement rate and impressions
• Notifying devs of potential issues and bugs discovered by community members
• Educating the community
• Managing social media ad campaigns
• Training of new staff and volunteer mods
• Monitor metrics and reports on community growth

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experienced with Twitter, Discord, Reddit, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Good understanding of blockchains and cryptocurrencies. Keeping up with the latest trends in the space.
• Commitment to continued growth and insight into growth hacking
• Naturally driven curiosity to benchmark and adapt to new trends
• Master of memes with good sense of humor
• Highly analytical with excellent problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Be able to work weekends, given crypto markets are running 24/7
