SuperLayer is hiring a
Web3 Creative Talent Acquisition

Compensation: $45k - $63k estimated

Location: Remote

SuperLayer is a crypto venture studio led by Kevin Chou and Mahesh Vellanki, who between them have launched multiple successful gaming and crypto companies including Kabam (free-to-play games, exited for ~$1B), GenG (esports), Forte (blockchain for gaming, >$1B latest valuation) and Rally.io (creator coins, >$5B total market cap). SuperLayer builds tokenized consumer businesses, supercharging their development with crypto technology and expertise from Rally and Forte that can take a typical 2-3 year build and instead launch new businesses in 4-6 months. We develop concepts internally, recruit world-class founding PMs to lead the product, fund the early development until public launch and then help raise venture capital from leading investors in the space.

One of our new projects is seeking a Head of Creator Relations who will lead the team responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with content creators, talent agencies, studios, and other content partners, to make sure our network of creators and their communities is active, growing, and unmatched.

This is a new team at a new company, and this is a key hire in building the strategy, processes, and culture for this team, the community it supports, and the company. We’d like an experienced manager and leader who can help guide and develop a team under them. We’re looking for someone who is able to get down and dirty in nitty gritty tasks, who doesn’t shy away from doing small and big tasks alike.

  • Management - Own the growth and organization of the Creator Relations team, prioritizing strong cross-functional collaboration, team development, and culture building

To be a good fit for this role you:

  • Have led, built, or been a key part of a growing, very fast moving team and able to bring about order and clarity.
  • Are well-connected or eager to connect; able to leverage and build relationships and networks globally (not just in the US)
  • Are a persuasive writer of copy, proposals, analysis, support docs, etc.
  • Are passionate about empowering creators and their communities and have direct experience in creator and passion economies, emerging markets and ecosystems, and/or generally ahead of trends
  • Are a strategic leader but eager to go hands-on to build from scratch
  • Put significant effort into understanding and including different perspectives, cultures, methodologies, and capabilities and advocate
  • Are inclusive and empathetic
  • Ready and eager to jump into web3, but direct experience not required
