Crypto Engineer - Rust / Polkadot

BitGreen is a new layer 1 blockchain being developed on Polkadot. Our mission is to build a suite of DeFi tools for impact and sustainability initiatives. Some early use cases under development are tokenized carbon credits, financing real-world renewable energy assets, microfinance, NGO integrations, and more.

Funding: We have raised our seed round and expanding our development team with more Rust developers as we enter a growth phase.

Role: We seek experienced Rust developers with the capacity to think independently and creatively. They must have fluent English skills and preferably some experience with blockchain and crypto. The candidate ought to be hungry and nimble, understanding the immense opportunity and expectations of joining a crypto startup at the ground floor (<15 people). Team is fully remote and globally distributed.

Bitgreen focuses on Sustainability, Impact Investing, Fin Tech, and Blockchain / Cryptocurrency. Their company has offices in New York City. They have a small team that's between 11-50 employees.
