Founded in late 2020, Sperax is a global technology firm building modern money with blockchain technology. With the Sperax token (SPA) at its core, Sperax has built USDs, an auto yield-bearing stablecoin.

USDs is a highly scalable, trustless, and decentralized stablecoin protocol that operates fully on-chain. The key innovation introduced by USDs is a dynamic reliance on both a crypto collateral component and an algorithmic one to provide stability, capital efficiency, and rapid scalability. Specifically, this novel design allows the protocol to rely on crypto collateral at genesis to then shift towards an algorithmic-based stability mechanism once the mechanism has proven its efficacy and the need for growth is at its strongest. This mechanism is likely to benefit both investors and users by taking advantage of changes in market conditions in real-time. This design allows for the redeployment of the collateral onto external Defi applications like Curve to generate passive income for the USDs holders who receive the automatic payment of yields in the form of weekly rebases. 

Sperax has received early funding from a range of key investors in this space, such as Alameda Research, Amber Group, Jump Trading, and Polychain Capital. We currently have offices in New York, Singapore, India, and China, and Sperax is also expanding in Europe. USDs launched in January of 2022, and within 3 months reached a market cap of $25 million.
