Economics & Tokenomics Researcher(Blockchain)

Safariblocks is a privately-held company that researches, and builds blockchain-based financial instruments to advance financial health for consumers globally. Our products are built and hosted on the public, and borderless Algorand Blockchain Ecosystem. In collaboration with the Algorand Foundation, we are developing a protocol that includes a non-custodial all-weather crypto mobile wallet, a digital token and a custom asset tokenization web application.

We are looking for a Tokenomics Researcher to ensure that the protocol's token economy is healthy, and economically sound, while always generating sustainable rewards for all its participants. You will do this by creating economic models, testing it around the protocol's use-cases and applying economic metrics in meaningful ways to guide decision-making.

What you will need:

1. A bachelor's degree in economics, or political economics - Masters/PHD(highly advantageous but not necessary, can be substituted for previous considerable industry experience in the field).
2. You must be able to create practical economic models that interface with central bank money supply and the protocol's decentralized-finance integrations without breaking and ensuring constant liquidity, especially in times of economic stress.
3. 3+ years experience
4. Ability to write computer modelling and simulation programs in Python. We use cadCad Python packages: https://cadcad.org/
5. Ability to use computer spreadsheets, and generate data for decision-making around various reward programs executed by the protocol to its community and protocol participants
6. Ability to get stuff done in the short timeframes, and iterate continously as requirements change
7. Knowledge of global financial markets
