Web3 HR Generalist, US

Compensation: $100k - $125k

Location: Remote

We are looking for an HR Generalist, US to join at an exciting inflection point for 21.co as we work to expand our US business. The HR Generalist will play a critical role on our HR team and will be the primary contact for our US employees and vendors. In addition to leading HR in the US, this person will also work cross-functionally to help bring holistic approaches to our global HR strategy and projects. The ideal candidate has exposure working in a startup and / or a rapidly growing and changing organization.

Responsibilities

  • US Employee Relations: Act as an advisor to managers and employees, serve as a primary point of contact to US employee and vendors and provide support and direction on HR-related matters
  • Payroll: Oversee the US payroll process, including managing and automating payroll systems and ensuring compliance
  • Immigration / Employment Law: Oversee US employee immigrations cases, as well as partner with Legal team on US employment related matters
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee our US compensation and benefits packages and further develop in order to attract and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with our global compensation and benefits strategy
  • HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day US HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, compliance, and record keeping
  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, attract top talent, and streamline the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including overseeing the performance reviews for US employees, to drive employee development and retention
  • Employee Engagement: Assist with employee engagement strategies, including surveys and initiatives company-wide, as well as programs and events in the US, in order to enhance morale and inform strategy

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, with a blend of startup and later-stage company experience, preferred
    • Experience in asset management, crypto, or fintech, a plus

  • Comprehensive HR knowledge, required
    • Global HR exposure, a plus.
  • Experience cultivating relationships across teams and in a hybrid and distributed work environment
  • Solutions-oriented and proactive problem solver
  • Strong project management and change management experience
  • Data-driven and dot connector
  • Thrives in a hyper-growth and ever-changing environment
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy

This role is based in New York City and will be expected to work from our office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday.

(NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $100,000.00- $125,000.00. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
