The Lead QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Metaverse experience products through the development and implementation of robust QA & testing strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, management experience, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Your Opportunity:

    • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise (CI/CD, TDD, BDD, ATTD, QA & Engineering best practices) to drive excellence in testing practices.
    • Execute functional correctness for ambiguous, complex and cross functional projects that have multiple layers of dependencies and undefined scope. Own quality strategy of the whole product.
    • Owns quality strategy of large projects that span across multiple groups in the department or company Successfully led the quality strategy for complex, business-critical projects.
    • Coordinates test providers (internal and/or external), able to set KPI's and monitor their performance and value added.
    • Coordinates testing with customers, identifying particular risks that should be covered and mitigating quality issues
    • Works with customers and/or cross-org stakeholders to identify their quality needs, concerns and risks, and work on mitigating these concerns and risks to ensure successful delivery.
    • Supports recruitment and development efforts, attracting and retaining diverse talent to meet the needs of the team.
    • Reinforces collaboration across teams for long term investments and gains by initiating/leading crucial conversations and resolutions. Anticipates intra-org team conflicts and mitigates them.

    • Independently lead cross functional projects to ensure timely delivery with desired quality expectations. 
    • Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Display a proactive and self-driven attitude, taking ownership of assigned tasks and driving them to completion

This role is available as remote, hybrid or in-office. We have a great office space in Spitalfields in London but are equally happy if you'd prefer to work from home some, or all of the time.
