Web3 Principal Product Manager (Assets)

We are looking for talented people to assist in building out our market leading web3 games platform. Our platform is designed to solve the core problem of making it easy and seamless for game studios to bring their in-game assets to the blockchain/crypto world. Hence we are looking for amazing talent to join us who can bring a strong mix of product strategy skills and the ability to execute a technical product.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team who are responsible for building easy to use APIs & SDKs that bring game assets to the blockchain. Our goal is to make the blockchain easy enough to use that mainstream game studios can start to take advantage of its unique properties such as true asset ownership and more open & transparent trading. Our APIs today provide capabilities such as creating/minting, searching and modifying assets. This role would help us enhance these APIs and introduce additional game-specific mechanics such as crafting and more.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for shaping and executing product strategy to achieve the mission of making Immutable X the best place to build web3 games
• Work with the product team to combine technology and design to solve real customer problems in a greenfield industry
• Conduct qualitative research with developers to understand their needs and desires
• Utilise data-driven insights to improve the product constantly
• Weigh difficult trade-offs understanding the user, security and engineering requirements
• Fostering a culture of mentorship and coaching the wider team on your area of expertise

We would love you to have:

• Proven track record of achieving product success and growth in previous roles
• Ability to combine technology and design to solve real customer problems
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to create a consistent, reliable shipping cadence
• Product evangelist with the ability to advocate for product within the business, working with other departments
• Ability to generate alignment amongst stakeholders, as well as clearly and concisely communicate the team’s mission and vision to senior leadership
• Experience working in a highly technical environment. Ability to rapidly master technical concepts, and work with engineers to identify the right path forward when encountering technical barriers
• Ability to make the right trade-off and prioritisation decisions
• Strong product craft
• A technical and/or tertiary background in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

• Experience in scale-ups or larger technology companies
• A demonstrated involvement in the blockchain industry or personal interest in crypto/NFTs

This role will be part of the Immutable X platform team.
