Lukka is hiring a Web3 Public Sector Sales Executive
Compensation: $36k - $90k estimated
Location: Remote, New York United States
This role is currently remote as a result of Covid. Will consider candidates from any USA location. When safe to return to the NY office, where possible, local employees will be given the option for partial onsite return.

You will work within our Public Sector Sales Team in discovering and winning new government contracts. You will be responsible for researching government requests for proposals (RFPs), determining which RFPs our company is qualified for, writing persuasive proposals for leadership approval, and monitoring all proposals to stay on growth targets. You are passionate about being part of a fast-growing company whose platform is redefining the way we all work. This is a strategic role where you will use your expertise and existing relationships within the government sector to make a huge impact as we gain momentum in this vertical.
Who we need
- 5-10 years of Government / Public Sector sales experience, selling to State agencies, regulators or similar
- 5-7 years successful service-based solution selling in a business-to-business environment dealing with senior stakeholders
- Considerable industry knowledge of government contracting, with concentrated experience in government accounting
- Deep awareness of various contracting options for federal procurement cycles including reseller landscape, certifications, legal contracts, and GSA schedule intricacies
- Experience working with state & local government clients
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, including experience negotiating terms and conditions with both government and industry clients
- Highly proficient in writing proposals and responses to Federal Task Orders, RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
- Experience conducting RFP review/analysis and developing a response strategy
- Expert knowledge of blockchain, crypto/digital assets and the surrounding ecosystem
- Ability to travel, as needed
What you’ll do
- Develop sales strategies to effectively identify and develop new business opportunities, and maintain existing customer relationships, calling on key decision makers of prospective clients
- Function as liaison between customer, sales, and technology
- Respond to Prospect RFI and RFPs
- Participate in a rigorous account planning process, including development of a robust pipeline and accurate revenue forecasts that will yield strong and predictable revenue growth
- Build and maintain prospective customer relationships; make follow up calls and conduct research to qualify sales. Enter prospect data and other sales data into database
