BitSight’s mission is to make the online world a safer place by helping governments, companies and NGOs understand and mitigate their cybersecurity risks. Ours is an internet-scale challenge - we track every IP address, every piece of malware, and a good portion of the world’s internet traffic.
The Sales Rep will be responsible for acquiring new customers for the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) Line of Business (LoB).
The target customers to approach are typically the following governmental agencies:
- National Cybersecurity Centers
- National CERTs,
- Telecom Regulators
- Information Security Agencies
- Sectoral and Regional CERTs.
Previous experience selling to these types of organizations is a plus.
This individual will drive sales strategy and be responsible for meeting new bookings targets for the CNI Line of Business.
To achieve the targets, the Sales Rep will work directly with the LoB General Manager in defining a strategy to approach this specific market and work closely with a matrixed team of Customer Success, Product Manager and Consulting Engineering reps.
The Sales Rep will report directly to theVP of Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the GM of the LoB on the definition of the regions/countries to approach.
- Execute the GTM strategy decide the best strategy for each region/country.
- Capture new business and win new logos, leveraging direct and partner activities. Subsequently expand and grow our existing customers with superior account management and in close alignment with Customer Success.
- Pipeline build, deal progression, close and account management efforts.
- Build executive relationships with top customers and partners.
- Lead by example and be hands on in the most important accounts.
- Keep the VP of Sales and the LoB team informed and aligned by submitting weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts through the CRM.
- Regularly provide insights and action plans on key trends, risks and opportunities for the LoB.
- Monitor the competition and recommend best practices, product and services to win more business.
- Develop a culture of learning and practice where new information and approaches are adopted quickly and refined through your input.
- Contribute to the broader team by collegial interaction with peers.
Required skills:
- Results driven with strong track record of meeting target.
- Flexibility and Creativity in order to define, when needed, a custom sales approach for specific customers.
- Experience dealing with Governmental and Public Admin customers.
- Capability to deal with multiple and different cultures (all continents).
