Are you a highly skilled Blockchain Engineer with a strong background in Golang, Cosmos-SDK/Tendermint, and knowledge of blockchain protocols such as IBC, ICA, and ICS? Role Overview:
As a Blockchain Engineer on the DevX team, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining CLI tools, APIs, and packages to enhance the developer experience. Your primary focus will be designing, building, and maintaining blockchain solutions, including the Ignite CLI, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards and are integrated effectively with the overall platform.
You'll work closely with other teams to identify new features and requirements for blockchain-related functionality, providing technical guidance to meet those needs. As part of your role, you will mentor junior developers, helping them learn about blockchain technology and development best practices. Your passion for quality code, technical expertise, and collaborative approach will be instrumental in continuously improving the developer experience for blockchain-related functionality.
Who You Are:
- Expert in Golang and its concurrency primitives
- Experienced with Cosmos-SDK and/or Tendermint, including the ability to write related SDK modules
- Knowledgeable in IBC, ICA, and ICS blockchain protocols
- Experience building CLI tools and designing user-friendly APIs and packages
- Track record of contributing to open-source projects
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with WebAssembly (Wasm) and other blockchain ecosystems
- Knowledge of other consensus engines
- Experience writing tutorials and interacting with the developer community
- Familiarity with compilers and code analysis to optimize and refine solutions, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability
