About the role

As a Senior Brand Designer, you will be instrumental in driving Infura’s brand strategy, and visual experience across all channels. In collaboration with the Design team, you will have a major impact by owning aesthetics and executing the visual direction of Infura.

You will report directly to the Director of Design and work closely with the Design and Marketing teams to define the look and feel of the the world’s most powerful blockchain development suite.

You will:

• Own the end-to-end design experience for the Infura website and marketing materials, such as website changes, editorial illustrations, featured images, social media banners, swag, posters, and more. 
• Capture groundbreaking technical concepts and creatively translate them into relatable and clear visual pieces 
• Contribute to Infura’s Design System, particularly Brand and Marketing sections
• Collaborate with our marketers, product designers, and developers to continuously improve our web properties, creating a cohesive and consistent user experience.
• Research and propose new solutions to make our site more user friendly; focus must be in the user experience from start to finish, how people interact with our site in the big picture, and on the small details

What we ask for:

• 5+ years of design, illustration, UI and print experience.
• Experience working within and evolving established brands.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of formal design principles including color, typography, and layout.
• Ability to take technical/complex concepts and explain them artfully and simply using design as a resource.
• Experience taking initiative, working independently and actively to resolve issues, and taking ownership of projects.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance needs of the brand, the business, and it’s constraints.
• Understanding of customer experience and the relationship between brand and product design.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Bonus points:

• Experience in motion graphics, animation, and videography.
• Experience in data-driven design and testing.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain and Ethereum.
• Experience facilitating branding workshops and cross-team collaborations
• Experience with CMS/open source software
• Can code HTML/CSS for some web development for the website
