Web3 Smart Contract Engineer

What you'll do

• Create reliable protocol by building, testing, and shipping smart contract upgrades and additions
• Write efficient, high quality code in Solidity
• Research and drive decisions about protocol architecture and features
• Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy
• Keep up to date with new blockchain technologies that can drive meaningful product results

Must have

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development, in either an academic or industry setting
• A depth of technical experience and have demonstrated excellence through previous work
• Basic knowledge of the EVM and blockchain technology
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• The ability to learn and adapt to a rapidly evolving tech stack
• An interest in the DeFi or a general understanding of blockchain technologies

Nice to have

• Experience writing high-quality, well-tested Solidity
• Experience developing a decentralized application or high-quality products
• Experience participating in coding competitions and winning medals
• Knowledge of lending market structures and related financial concepts
• Exceptional judgment, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
