About the Role

We are looking for a qualified social media manager who will live and breathe our culture and embed this in our public campaigns! You’ll be involved in all aspects of the marketing & growth pipeline -- from strategy through execution and implementation.

Who are you?

You are creative and analytical, has a deep understanding of internet culture, is results-driven, resourceful, and lead by example. You will be a key team member working closely with our executive team to own managing the marketing, communications, advertising, and brand responsibilities of the company, to build and deliver on Cope's digital marketing strategy.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate has worked on the marketing/growth aspects of an NFT product in the past, is driven, passionate about working at an early stage startup, and recognizes both the upside, growth, and impact you can in a fast-paced startup environment.

The major pointers we look for are: Knowledgeable about the NFT space, with an understanding of NFT platforms and the crypto community's vibes, culture, and latest trends. Experience working in an early-stage environment (either company or product). Demonstrated ability to produce successful and creative marketing content and campaigns. Unorthodox approaches to producing social media and community engagement content across platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc. Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices. Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis. Proficient in marketing software (e.g., CRM). Familiarity with social media and web analytics. Excellent communication and people skills.

Bonus points for

1+ years of professional digital marketing role. Sizeable personal following on platforms like Twitter or Instagram. Have worked in a team following project management methodologies such as agile. Previous experience working in the NFT space.

What to expect

Define Cope's social and digital marketing strategy in collaboration with our executive team. Drive and own social media, digital communication, and creative project campaigns. Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material). Stay abreast of current market conditions and trends and incorporate new innovations into company marketing plans. Analyze consumer behaviour to identify and inform the product team with customer personas. Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competition ventures. Use growth hacking tools, campaigns, and strategies to grow Cope's user base. Research (competitors’ social monitoring, industry trends, best practices, topics, etc.) Manage external stakeholders to maintain relationships with creators, media vendors, and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
