Web3 Software Development Engineer in Test

Engineering at SuperRare Labs:

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test who will be a driving force behind the delivery of our world-class product. Our engineering team is composed of web, mobile, data, dev ops, and protocol groups that work together to bring a peerless experience for our users. We strive to be more than the sum of our individual parts, and are driven by our core values: candor, autonomy, and communication. We are an all-remote company, but prefer that you have availability during US work hours EST to facilitate better collaboration with your core team. This role will report to the Director of Engineering.

What you’ll do:

  • Choose and implement frameworks and testing strategies for our applications and APIs to enhance the overall quality of our product

  • Empower our existing engineers by teaching them to leverage the systems and strategies you create

  • Learn to test smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain

  • Work with our Product and Support teams to perform User Acceptance Testing for major feature releases

  • Contribute to the overall system architecture and culture of engineering excellence at SuperRare Labs

What you have:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, or equivalent experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Haskell, or Solidity

  • Understanding of various types of testing and when to use them: unit, end-to-end, smoke, load, etc.

  • Strong opinions on technology and the facts to back them up

  • A strong desire to leverage your technical talents to empower others throughout the world

SuperRare powers / bonus points if you can demonstrate:

  • Prior experience auditing/testing smart contracts with tools like Hardhat, Ethers, and Remix

  • Personal or professional experience with Solidity, dapps/web3, or the Ethereum blockchain
