About the Role

Figure is looking for a Head of Investor Relations to lead our company vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop and create a robust investor relations strategy from the ground floor, this role is for you. This role will require a corporate professional who also has entrepreneurial skills and looks to the future with optimism to envision what could be possible. Success in this role will require collaboration, communication, leadership and vision. A driven, self-starter who is confident in taking responsibility and taking projects to completion with minimal guidance will be successful in this role. The successful candidate will engage, develop, and maintain positive interactions with the investment community on behalf of Figure.

What You’ll Do

• Develop investor confidence and belief in Figure’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
• Develop and execute on a robust investor relations strategy and framework
• Create and manage strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
• Manage equity research and investor relationships
• Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team
• Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business
• Develop key investor relations materials in collaboration with senior leadership in the preparation of quarterly updates, presentations, board meetings, and other contact points.
• Monitor operational changes through ongoing contacts with company management and develop investor relations messages based on these changes.
• Conduct industry and competitor research and provide senior leadership with ongoing feedback from the investment community.
• Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters

What We Look For

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
• MBA or FMVA Certification a plus
• 8 + years of experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating a positive relationship with the investor community, ideally in financial services
• Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
• Thorough familiarity with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics, competitor activities, industry dynamics and customer trends
• Entrepreneurial mindset as well as client/investor focused
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and practice independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, creative problem solving and keen judgment
• Superb written and verbal communication to effectively engage and inspire employees and investors.
