Gate.HK, a leading crypto trading platform and subsidiary of Gate Group, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our virtual asset trading platform, infrastructure, and customer data. If you are passionate about cybersecurity, possess strong technical skills, and have a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape, we would love to hear from you.
What you will be doing:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and framework.
● Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
● Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify potential risks and weaknesses.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls and measures.
● Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices.
● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
● Conduct security awareness training and provide guidance to employees on cybersecurity practices.
● Establish incident response procedures and lead incident investigations.
● Manage relationships with external security vendors and partners.
● Prepare and present cybersecurity reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
Who are we looking for:
● Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
● Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the financial services or cryptocurrency industry.
● Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.
● Experience in designing and implementing security controls and measures adhering to regulatory standards in Hong Kong.
● Familiarity with virtual asset trading platforms and associated security risks.
● Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
● Deep understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
● CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
● Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly desirable.
