Web3 Senior Legal Counsel

What you will be doing

• Review and draft different documents including but not limited to various commercial contracts, policies and procedures;
• Provide legal support and advice to senior management and various business units;
• Conduct legal analysis of specific matters and assist in handling litigations and/or disputes;
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules and internal guidelines;
• Work out other assigned tasks.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor degree or above majored in law or relevant, hold in Legal (LLB/J.D.) or equivalent;
• Qualified solicitor with minimum 5 years PQE, ideally having exposure to both law firm and commercial environment; At least 3 years’ experience in financial services – experience in relation to crypto, blockchain and web3 is preferred;
• Sold legal expertise, sound judgment of business practices and risk management skills;
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and with excellent communication skills, some management experience is preferred;
• Ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a fast-paced global organization;
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English;
• Trained and/or qualified in U.S., UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore or a common law jurisdiction is an advantage.
