As our Social Media and Growth Hacker Manager at Kava Labs you will be responsible for developing, posting and managing across all of our owned media channels. Your strong background in developing engaging social media content and maximizing the impact across multiple social and influencer platforms will contribute to and support the growth and success of our social media programs. You will focus on increasing Kava's followers, enhancing their experience and engagement with us, monitor and manage performance metrics across multiple social channels and drive continuous improvement around our social platforms to strengthen Kava’s brand and community.

This is a full time remote position based in the US. We are looking for your experience and perspective to contribute to our growing company culture! We are a 100% distributed workforce with teams in the US, Canada, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. You will work alongside a team of world class crypto experts on an open-source project that transfers millions of dollars in assets daily, providing the financial primitives for the next evolution in crypto.

What You Will Do.

Be Kava’s global voice. Create, customize and manage all posts according to both message and medium. Influence the community with your knowledge of the industry, its history and current news to engage users with accuracy and clarity.

Manage company social media channels. Design and implement campaigns and activities around Kava users engagement by collaborate with the Kava team on content calendar, engage with other brands, influencers, and users, and support leadership across multiple platforms. Run campaigns to cross-promote social/digital content with exciting concepts to attract new users and partners.You will be our brand builder.

Be our evangelist . Drive interest and execute the strategy for big news, content releases, and community engagement. Maximize Kava’s website & blog ranking across major search engines. Develop clever posts that encourage users to want to hear about the next big news!

Strengthen our brand and community. Respond to users about their questions on our platform, monitor comments and enforce community guidelines. Empathy and understanding is key when responding to our multicultural community. You will be responsible for optimizing all channels.

Help us Grow. Work on the intersection of product and marketing teams to locate and execute on growth opportunities. In a rapidly-evolving space you should be action-oriented and motivated to stay on top of developing decentralized social media space. Research current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Growth Hacker You understand how to maximize the impact of social media communications and platforms and can help to strengthen the reach and impact of Kava’s social communities.

Crypto-trader. You are an active trader and part of the global crypto community who knows from the inside what matters to them at every level. Your trading experience and historical knowledge such as technical analysis will be critical to our collective success.

Dynamic voice. Someone who can speak to the global crypto community and motivate users. Your unique communication skills will inspire users into action.

Project owner end-to-end. You have meticulous project management skills and can meet deadlines. In a fast-paced environment you should be detail-oriented, take ownership from day one and have a collaborative mindset.

How You Will Succeed.

• Bachelor in Marketing/Communications (preferred).
• 4+ years as a social media and/or growth hacker required.
• Prior marketing work experience in Crypto/DeFi space required.
• Report on growth-driven stats channel success/learnings.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate various social platforms’ native analytics capabilities and deliver informed strategies based on trends.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• A proven ability to design and implement user engagement campaigns.
• A proven record of building a strong presence via social media channels .
• A self-starting and ambitious attitude who thrives in a startup environment.
• Multi-lingual is a plus.
