We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our team. This role will be responsible for overall finance, accounting, budgeting, treasury, compliance, tax and investment management.
Responsibilities
- Handles aspects of risk through accounting, audit, planning and treasury functions
- Manage treasury, cash flow and resource allocation, meeting short and long-term funding needs
- Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance
- Develops financial models and monitors financial health
- Leads financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Create company policies
- Recommend cost optimizing solutions
- Expense management (review & reimburse)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management or Finance
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, accounting and treasury management
- Proven experience with budgeting and risk management
- Knowledge of the current crypto and/or blockchain landscape
- Strong analytical skills - experience in Excel and SQL
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experiences
- CFA/CPA qualification is a plus
- Hands-on crypto/ blockchain experience in DeFi, NFT, staking
