Avara Labs Cayman Holdings SEZC is looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the financial reporting process of the parent company, along with its operating subsidiaries. This role requires collaboration with other functional areas of the company to ensure effective financial reporting and compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.

How you can make an impact:

• Preparing financial statements and assisting with drafting the management discussion and analysis for quarterly and year end filings
• Ensure proper Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”) exist and are adhered to; implement any changes to the standards
• Completing consolidation and translation files
• Preparing financial and Management reporting of various balance sheet, income statement accounts and cashflow monthly
• Assisting with the annual budget and quarterly forecast process
• Assisting with year-end audit execution of field work and liaising with the auditors
• Assisting with continuous disclosure requirements
• Supporting preparation of investor relations deliverables
• Assist with review oversight or management of and approval of month end close
• Assisting with complex accounting issues including accounting for acquisitions, intellectual property, investment valuations, fund accounting, digital assets, licensing transactions, stock-based compensation, translations, and consolidations
• Reconciling tax accounts and submitting statutory filings, if required
• Assisting tax consultants on income tax filing
• Any other duties assigned by the Chief Financial Officer or Financial Controller.

Let's connect if:

• CPA designation or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of experience in a senior reporting role, or 2 years or more of experience working with a national or an international audit firm in a manager role or above
• Outstanding knowledge of IFRS and/or US/UK GAAP
• UK VAT knowledge is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Multi-currency reporting
• Complex accounting analysis and treatment
• Continuous disclose requirements knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with high tolerance for ambiguity
• Experience with digital asset reporting is an asset
