Position: Solidity Engineer || Only US Citizen and Green Card

Location: Tampa, FL/ Jersey City, NJ/ Texas City, TX (Hybrid)

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Solidity Engineer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology and its associated smart contract capabilities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and deploying smart contracts for our blockchain projects, ensuring the secure, efficient, and innovative application of decentralized technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts.

• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate smart contracts with web applications.

• Rigorously review code to uphold standards of quality and functional robustness.

• Maintain and enhance existing smart contracts based on evolving needs.

• Stay current with cryptographic and blockchain advancements to proactively address security threats.

• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.

• Provide blockchain and smart contract expertise to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live smart contracts.

• Stay updated with the latest Blockchain ecosystem developments and adapt solutions accordingly.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Demonstrable experience with Solidity.

• Strong understanding of blockchain security practices and common vulnerabilities.

• Proficiency with:

o Truffle

o Hardhat

o Foundry

o Remix

• Experience using Solidity security testing tools:

o Slither

o Mythril

o Echidna

• Practical experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Ability to develop unit and integration tests.

• Strong understanding of:

o Software development best practices

o Data structures

o Algorithms

o Development methodologies

Education & Professional Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Experience in banking, finance, or trading domains with knowledge of financial instruments and systems.

Bonus Experience

• Experience with financial infrastructure involving:

o Collateral

o Lending

o Balance sheet management

• Advanced STEM degree.

• Experience with DeFi platforms such as:

o Aave

o Uniswap

o MakerDAO

• Blockchain or Smart Contract Development certifications.
