We are looking for an Events Manager with a can-do attitude to lead our foundation in hosting events that enhance our vision, improve community loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-community experience. You have experience researching and securing venues, planning and managing event calendars, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking and delivering on event brief objectives.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts for Helium.
• Handling budgeting, invoicing, contracts and negotiations with vendors and sponsors.
• Planning and execution of logistics for Helium hosted events, including site location scouting and preparation, stage management, speaker and content support.
• Working with our Head of Communications to manage branding and communication.
• Creating event promotional materials, including website page development, email marketing, social media and registration site information.
• Obtaining permits if required.
• Working with our PR partner/Head of Communications to facilitate the creation of exciting stories that we can share with our community.
• Identifying networking events for team members to attend.
• Working closely with internal teams for support.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong track record of coordinating and hosting company and community events.
• Great communication and marketing skills.
• Strong project Management experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Preference for demonstrated excitement for Web 3.0, crypto, or wireless innovation.
