Hashflow is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, built from the ground up with first principles. Our mission is to build the most seamless decentralized trading experience, and to allow traders to access products previously impossible in DeFi. We are looking for talented individuals to join our fast paced team to help us on this mission!  

We are a small fully remote team that likes to move quickly so we need someone that is independently motivated and a proactive communicator. You must be able to collaborate with other team members remotely to accomplish tasks with limited oversight. If you are excited about working on the most cutting edge problems in DeFi with some of the brightest minds in the industry, this is the role for you. 

This role is remote friendly; although physical locations within Miami or Seattle are preferred due to co-location opportunities with our team members, they are not a requirement.

Responsibilities: - Design backend systems that will allow Hashflow to scale to its next suite of product offerings - Make infrastructure choices that willScale system throughput by 10-100x - Increase and maintain platform availabilityAllow for extensibility, so as to support new features (e.g. Limit Orders) - Collaborate with Stakeholders (Market Makers, Takers) in order to design systems that comply with industry best practices

Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in building / working with large scale systems / infrastructure - Experience with Node.JS / Typescript - Solid written and spoken communication skills in English

Nice-to-Haves: - Experience with smart contract on Solidity or Rust - Strong interest in the Web 3.0 / DeFi space - Physical location in Miami, FL or Seattle, WA
