Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst at Hivemind Capital, you will help us to execute on key strategic initiatives for the company. This role encompasses aspects of strategy, finance, project management, ops, and business development - and above all, will require taking the initiative to proactively improve the business. We are looking for someone with the adaptability to work seamlessly between different parts of the organization, and the tenacity to deal with new problems on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will evolve based on business need, but may include things like:

• Identify and work closely with crypto exchanges and service providers to manage business development, diligence, onboarding, and execution
• Manage and maintain records of cryptocurrency transactions, and perform data analysis on our execution in order to recommend improvements in slippage and execution
• Perform financial planning and analysis to ensure appropriate cashflow management and allocation across different businesses and fund vehicles
• Support investor relations by organizing and categorizing LPs, managing inbound questions, and working with other parts of the organization to ensure they are taken care of
• Proactively identify opportunities for an improvement in operational efficiency across the organization
• Deep dive into crypto custody and make recommendations for process improvements; then manage these processes going forward
• Perform market research and business intelligence on the digital asset fund space, and use this to make suggestions on near, medium, and long-term opportunities
• Build out and maintain document warehouse organizing documentation related to firm structure, investments, and partnerships
• Support investing team or research team with protocol due diligence or analysis

Required:

• 2-5 years of experience in Management Consulting, Tech, Finance, or at a Startup
• Exceptional professional judgment, ideally exercised in a startup environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Advanced data analysis and Excel skills
• Ability to execute under pressure and within tight timelines while juggling multiple projects
• Strong people skills, with a focus on collaboration and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Local to the NYC area

Preferred:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and DocuSign
• Demonstrated interest, activity, and engagement with the crypto ecosystem
