Blockchain Software Engineer

Northern Block is looking for an energetic and passionate Blockchain Software Engineer to work on Mobile Apps and Web-based Apps.

Through its leading NB Orbit Platform, organizations can deploy digital credentialing ecosystems, become credential issuers, accept digital credentials within workflows and use a variety of digital wallets and agents to connect and exchange credentials.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the creation of Self-Sovereign Identity-based software products.
• The full software lifecycle from planning, development and testing all the way through testing, training and production support.
• Participation in cross-functional projects from conception through deployment.
• Prioritizing and multitasking simultaneous projects.
• Writing high quality code, participating in code reviews and creating high quality documentation supporting the design/coding tasks.
• Participating in internal projects that help scale the organization, implement best practices, and improve our methodology.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of Software Development experience.
• 2+ years of Blockchain experience.
• Has strong experience in Hyperledger - Indy, Aries, Fabric, Ethereum, Node JS, Solidity.
• Experienced in React JS, ASP .Net, MVC, PHP, Angular JS, SQL and NoSQL.
• Ability to be involved in the various stages of Software Development Life Cycle resulting in good exposure especially in the Analysis and database Design, Development, and Implementation.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Scrum Model. Ability to work on multiple projects, under tight deadlines. Also possess a flexible & detail-oriented attitude.
• Nice to have: worked on SSI based Projects and POCs pertaining to various domains.
• Nice to have: Experienced contributor to open source code projects.
• Nice to have: Ability to configure Indy SDK and private Indy pools on cloud VM instances.
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience in containerization such as Docker which is used in running Indy networks and Aries agents.
• Nice to have: Skilled in web based Aries agents.
• Nice to have: Deep understanding of Aries RFCs.
• Nice to have: Hands-on experience in writing Smart Contracts.
