Web3 Chief Marketing Officer

Decentraloco has partnered with a pre-venture-capital-funded, peer-to-peer technology company building to drive universal accessibility in the decentralized finance space. They are ready to launch soon!

The team is well developed with a superb combination of exceptionally successful individuals getting ready for its raise in 3-4 months' time.

Our Tech-Partners are building the Decentralized Finance Operating System to enable consumers to succeed financially by using blockchain and financial technologies through an easy-to-use application.

Please note this is an unpaid role until a successful VC investment, salary is to be backdated.

👔 Suitability for the role:

This role will suit you if you can self-fund yourself for 3-4 months.

You’re passionate about open-source software & peer-to-peer technologies and have experience in leading marketing teams in a startup environment.

You’re prepared to get hands-on, but also have experience leading teams and managing people.

You understand communications and growth within the web3/blockchain space require a different approach from the corporate world and most startups.

You can not only generate original campaign ideas that reflect this culture - but you can lead them through all stages of execution.

You enjoy a remote work environment that is fast-paced, and you help create an amazing, positive workplace.

You enjoy working with a diverse group of people and have excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

💼 Responsibilities:

Generating traction to showcase to investors

You’ll work closely with our executive, marketing, and product teams to help support the marketing efforts.

You’ll lead the marketing efforts Network and help to educate developers and users on the protocol's infrastructure and use cases.

Lead market research to better understand our target customer segments and value propositions.

Plan resources, manage budgets, and timelines to support key product launches with the development of the required technical content.

Generate interest and excitement through intelligent promotion and marketing of our products, services and brand.

Manage the production of demos, tutorials, technical papers and conference presentations that demonstrate the possibilities of the Platform and grow its active community.

Lead the paid advertising campaigns, with an immediate focus on calculating customer acquisition costs.

Develop and execute original campaign ideas that are open, participatory, and community-centric, and fit within the ethos of the organisation and brand.

Develop and execute marketing strategy and campaigns, to grow and evangelise the community and userbase.

Develop and lead the overall growth, and communications & recruitment strategy.

📚 Qualifications:

University educated in marketing or another related degree.

Outstanding English verbal & written skills

5+ years of relevant experience in marketing/communications.

Strong experience with marketing to a global audience

Building vibrant communities or bringing products to market in emerging technologies
