Community Manager
I am currently working on an exclusive mandate with a leading Web3 company that incubates, produces, and curates the next generation of the NFT ecosystem. They are looking for a passionate Community Manager to join their growing marketing function
The Role:
As a Community Manager, you will be the bridge between their diverse audience and their company. Your primary responsibility will be to nurture and grow a thriving
community that is engaged, and informed about their products, services, and ecosystem as a whole. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that the voice of the community is heard within the company, and conversely, the company’s values and developments are effectively communicated to the community.
Responsibilities:
● Community Engagement: Interact with users across various platforms including Telegram, Twitter, Discord, and IRL events to build rapport, answer questions and gather feedback.
● Content Creation: Produce compelling and relevant content, such as blog posts, newsletters, podcasts, and Twitter Spaces, that inform, entertain, and resonate with the community’s interests.
● Feedback Collection: Act as the community’s advocate within the company. Gather and analyze user feedback, suggestions, and concerns to provide valuable insights, facilitating continuous improvement and innovation.
●Events and Initiatives: Organize and execute virtual events, competitions, AMAs, and other interactive initiatives that enhance community engagement, knowledge sharing, and excitement around company offerings.
● Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and investment, to ensure alignment of messaging, brand, and community sentiment.
● CRM Management & Data Analysis: Utilize a CRM system to track community interactions, manage user data and enhance community relationships. Leverage CRM insights to tailor engagement strategies and communication.
● Community Growth Strategy: Contribute to the development of the community's growth strategy, focusing on expanding membership and enhancing engagement across all cohorts. Propose new initiatives, improvements, and creative ideas to continuously evolve the community's offerings.
● Feedback Loop and Improvement: Gather feedback from members on their experiences, needs, and preferences. Use member insights to refine community processes, content strategies, and engagement efforts.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
● 3+ years of proven experience and a passion for community management in web3, blockchain, crypto, or NFTs, and knowledge of the players within the field
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
● Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, forums, and community management tools
● Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills
● Passion for and understanding of web3, the metaverse, and emerging technologies
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
● Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging community initiatives
● Experience with content creation (blogs, videos, podcasts, live streams) is a plus
