About The Role

We are building the Accounting division of our Finance Team. We are looking for a Controller that will help evolve the infrastructure and processes that are in place, to support the hypergrowth of the company. This role will report to the Head of Strategy & Finance and will oversee all accounting, reporting, tax, and cash flow management functions for the company, including owning relationships with third-party service providers. This role will also involve web3-specific issues, such as token/wallet security.

The best candidate will be able to wear many hats and support other functions such as tax strategy. This role will be the entirety of the in-house Accounting function in the near term but will have the opportunity to build the team and take on a leadership role in the medium term as the company scales.

NOTE: THIS JOB IS FULLY REMOTE, CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES.

• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably with big 4 audit experience and several years in a startup environment.
• A self-starter with a high degree of drive to make things happen in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Passion for web3 and NFTs is a plus.
