As a Localization Specialist at Flipster                                         
Localization Specialist at Flipster ensures accurate translation and cultural adaptation of content, UI, and communications for global markets. You will collaborate with product and tech teams to maintain consistency, compliance, and user engagement while optimizing workflows for a seamless multilingual experience. 

Location: This is a global remote position.

Responsibilities

    • Review and proofread translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand consistency.
    • Support in managing translation workflows, including issuing and tracking string keys.
    • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize localization integrations and tools (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Crowdin, Phrase).
    • Maintain glossaries, termbases, and >
    • Ensure proper text encoding and formatting across supported languages, including RTL (right-to-left) languages.

Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of experience in localization or translation operations (preferably in crypto, fintech, or SaaS).
    • Expertise in localization tools (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Crowdin, Phrase).
    • Fluency in Korean or English is required.
    • Fluency in the target languages is required (Russian).
    • Knowledge of translation terms (e.g., TMS, translation memory, machine translations, etc.).
    • Familiarity with crypto/Web3 terminology and industry-specific language challenges.

Preferred

    • Experience working with external translators or agencies.
    • Experience localizing content for crypto, trading platforms, or Web3 projects.
    • Experience managing localization processes with cross-functional teams.
    • Multilingual fluency beyond Korean or English (Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, etc.)
