The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can work independently to achieve both individual and team goals. You will work closely with traders, senior management, and other risk professionals to monitor and evaluate trading activity and potential risks. This role offers the flexibility to shape and innovate within the risk management function, allowing you to make it your own while driving impactful decisions in a dynamic crypto environment. You will have access to enormous amounts of proprietary data to assist you.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate trading activity to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain risk metrics, thresholds, and dashboards for proactive management.
• Utilize Python and other data-centric tools to process and analyze complex datasets to create actionable risk reports/visualisations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyse market data and risk metrics to assess potential risks and develop appropriate risk management strategies
• Build and maintain scripts and tools to automate risk-monitoring processes
• Work closely with traders and senior management to design and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management guidelines

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have:

• • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with handling large datasets, including data ingestion, processing, and visualization.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or related field
  • 1 - 4 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a trading environment
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in crypto is a plus
