Metaplex is looking for a Marketing Lead to support the next phase of growth for the Metaplex Protocol. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack marketing generalist that can craft narratives that raise awareness of the protocol, execute product launch campaigns, and deepen the Metaplex Foundation’s relationship with the community. This person will have a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact and shape the future of digital assets.

Responsibilities:

• Drive awareness of the Metaplex Protocol and its developer platform through various marketing channels such as social media, the Metaplex Developer Hub, the Metaplex website, Discord, and in-person events
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Product, and Business Development teams to distill complex, technical concepts into easy-to-understand content that can be shared across Metaplex’s marketing channels
• Deepen Metaplex’s community engagement by elevating and highlighting ecosystem teams that are building on the Metaplex Protocol
• Work with the Engineering, Product, and Business Development teams to develop go-to-market strategies
• Lead growth initiatives such as SEO, paid advertising, and lifecycle marketing

What you bring:

• 4+ years of marketing experience including at least 2 years of prior web3 experience, preferably with an L1/L2 or other highly technical, infrastructure-focused project
• Demonstrated experience executing successful product launch and growth campaigns within an early-stage start-up
• Experience working with and managing external resources such as marketing agencies
• Deep passion for crypto, NFTs, and blockchain technology, preferably with an interest in Solana
• Team player that’s comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while wearing many different hats
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
• Self-starter who’s detailed oriented with the ability to handle ambiguity

The base compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $225,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in the Metaplex Foundation’s token incentive plan. Final offer amount will be at the Metaplex Foundation’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.You will also be eligible to receive health, dental and vision benefits.
