What is HyperMint? 🚀

HyperMint enables brands, creators and web 2 companies to create and deploy tokens through an easy-to use UI wizard. We abstract away the complexities of deploying an NFT/token strategy and cut time to market from months to weeks or even days. Think AWS for NFTs.

We’re on a mission to empower the next Billion people to participate in the Web 3 economy. We’ll do this by giving developers world-class and cutting edge tooling. We’ll allow brands to engage with their existing crypto-curious customer bases using our robust and flexible platform.

HyperMint was founded by three friends who worked together at MoonPay: Semyon, Freddie and Adrian.

Semyon Germanovich - Co-Founder / Product and Engineering

Semyon spent the last 2 years building payments infrastructure for NFTs. He was Head of Crypto at MoonPay, launching MoonPay’s OpenSea integration and the first ever plug and play payments widget which allows marketplaces, brands and creators to accept credit and debit card payments for their NFTs. An engineer by trade and a product operator at heart, Semyon got into crypto in 2014 and has never looked back.

Frederick Becker - Co-Founder / Sales and Growth

Freddie currently leads the Ecosystem and Platform Partnerships at MoonPay. Responsible for all relationships between MoonPay and the Foundations as well as enterprise commercial relationships. Previously, Freddie led the sales team at JudoPay whilst consulting for the UK Government on future payments strategy and member of the Affine blockchain think tank.

Adrian Pang - Co-Founder / Ops and Strategy

Adrian leads strategy and special projects at Moonpay, responsible for working with C-Level on strategic partnerships, launching new products, Go- to-Market and expansion planning. Adrian previously consulted with the United Nations and led ecosystem growth at Dapper Labs.

Who are we looking for? 💻

• You’ve been exposed to Solana engineering in a some capacity for at least 6 months.
• You understand fundamental blockchain principles such as blocks, nodes, networks, UTXOs and account-based systems.
• You’ve had previous contact with open source standards in the Solana ecosystem such as Metaplex.
• You’ve worked on wallet management, NFTs or another area of crypto-specific development and can talk about it with conviction and in deep detail.
• You’re comfortable writing, iterating on and reviewing Solana contracts written in Rust.
• You enjoy a culture of engineering excellence and hold yourself to the highest standard.
• Bonus points for writing or contributing to open source standards and libraries.
• Bonus points for experience with our tech stack (see below).

This is an owner role, not an employee role. You’ll bear the title of founding engineer, which means substantial equity upside and key contribution to the direction of the business.

What You’ll Do 🧠

• Own HyperMint’s Solana efforts: plan, design and iterate on our Solana strategy.
• Become a subject matter expert on Solana within our company.
• Educate other founding engineers and our leadership on Solana.
• Work with our Head of Engineering and leadership to define our product roadmap.
• Participate and shape an excellent engineering culture.
• Position yourself to pivot into a team lead role.
• Opportunity to be exposed to tier 1 clients in solutions and discovery calls.
