Web3 Head of BD/Sales

About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative and early stage Web3 company as our first business hire. We are at the beginning of a growth phase and are seeking a highly strategic and operationally excellent individual to grow and execute on our sales funnel. You will gain exposure to running a startup day-to-day: developing our go-to-market strategy, executing on a customer pipeline, and managing a multi stakeholder relationships with businesses. You will proactively improve our sales processes, systems, and collateral.

About you:

• You have 5+ years of full-time work experience in business development, sales, or partnerships function.
• Extensive experience in SaaS or FinTech sales
• Prior experience in crypto / blockchain / NFTs is a plus but not required
• You have previous experience leading complex, strategic sales cycles with a long duration (multiple months).
• Experience selling to or establishing partnerships with leading consumer brands in retail, e-commerce, food and beverages, hospitality, sports, entertainment, etc
• You are great at conducting customer interviews and can generate broader insights from customer conversations.
• You are familiar with and understand the entire sales cycle, and can own a process end-to-end as we grow.
• Experience scaling a company and closing meaningful customer relationships or developing strategies to accomplish this.
• You have great analytical skills (i.e can develop meaningful sales KPIs)
• Experience with a CRM (i.e Hubspot or Salesforce) and with a tech work management platform (jira/confluence, asana, smartsheets etc.)
