Web3 Marketing intern - APAC

As the Marketing Intern - APAC at Blockdaemon, you will be pushing the entire blockchain industry forward by helping developers and companies accelerate their product development on our infrastructure. You will collaborate with our global marketing and cross-functional teams in various stages of marketing campaigns, events, branding, and PR. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills at a category-leading blockchain company and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You will gain experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, teamwork-centric environment.

Position Overview: This is a 6-month contract with the option to extend, a full-time role for an Intern or recently graduated person in Singapore. We’re taking applications now for a start date as soon as available.

This will be a hybrid position with an expectation to be in the team office in the Singapore CBD area 1-3 times a week.

This role will report directly to the Director, Marketing - APAC and work closely with the global marketing team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Event management: Handle event scheduling documents and meeting spaces; Book restaurants + venues for side events, conferences, meet-ups etc ; Research + recommend restaurants and maintain a running list of venues across APAC ; Manage logistics + on-ground support ; Work with RevOps to handle Salesforce tracking + drip campaigns for every event
• Content and Data: Email content ; Creating engaging / viral Linkedin copy post for APAC team and marketing leaders; Create + track metric goals ; Campaign management + reporting ; Social media assistance
• Admin and Vendor Management: Contract review with legal ; Handle payments + receivables with accounting
• External Partnership and Collaborations: Maximize our membership with associations; Collaborate with different companies for joint events and deal offerings ; Communicate actively with partners via slack, telegram, email, etc
• Communications and PR: Pitch stories and news (on top of PR agency); Assist in developing the key communications; Seek merit speaking opportunities in events ; Apply + submit awards for the region
• Swag: Set up suppliers, coordinate ordering, and manage inventory ; Oversee logistics including delivery and packing
• Other: Assist sales team with decks + other marketing collaterals

Requirements:

• Based in Singapore
• Penultimate or Final year university undergraduate or graduate student
• Able to commit to a full-time contract for entire duration of contract
• Keen interest in crypto and blockchain technology
• Marketing, Communications, Business Development or Sales experience
