Seamless Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol focused on creating transparent, efficient, and composable onchain financial products. Fully governed by its community through the SEAM token, Seamless was launched by contributors from projects like Coinbase, CertiK, Ampleforth, AAVE and more.

As a leading lending and borrowing protocol on Base, Seamless has pioneered capital-efficient mechanisms like Integrated Liquidity Markets (ILMs), and has onboarded over 200,000 users to lend, borrow, and multiply their DeFi assets.

Summary

Seamless is looking for a creative, plugged-in, DeFi native contributor to help drive Seamless's voice across crypto. In this role, you'll focus on content creation, marketing and social media strategy—crafting thought-provoking blog posts, sharp tweets and memes, while helping shape the narrative around Seamless and the broader DeFi ecosystem. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas across: community, product, or partnerships as your interest and bandwidth allow.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and publish blog posts, thought pieces, press releases/partner marketing and protocol updates/announcements
• Develop and execute an overall marketing and social strategy, including:
  • Identifying target audiences, aligning tone and content to resonate with them
  • Driving user actions (e.g. lending, staking, referrals) through growth-focused content
  • Using analytics to form and test hypotheses, then iterate based on what works

• Lead social media strategy and execution, including memes, threads, campaign rollouts, and community engagement across Twitter and other platforms (i.e. Farcaster)
• Develop and maintain a consistent voice and brand strategy across platforms and coordinate messaging with contributors
• Craft and own a holistic content calendar with native and partnership related content
• Monitor onchain trends, market narratives, and community sentiment to:
  • Ingest and synthesize key narratives and feedback
  • Inform Seamless’s GTM and content direction
  • Disseminate learnings across contributors (e.g. product and growth) to align messaging and market fit
• Maintain a consistent voice and narrative across all platforms, while being agile in responding to relevant trends and conversations

Ideal Candidate Traits

• Fluent in memes and crypto Twitter
• Onchain presence - avid/passionate DeFi user with understanding of major protocols and market narratives and ability to pickup on DeFi concepts quickly
• Strong writing skills — you can synthesize complex ideas and trends into compelling content, where you passion shines through
• Curious, self-directed, and excited to ship creative work quickly
• Well-organized (has a system for content creation and release) and clear communicator, comfortable working async/decentralized
• Comfortable utilizing analytics tools (e.g., typefully, kaito.ai, twitter analytics, google analytics, etc.
• Okay wearing multiple hats in an unstructured environment; Past experience working in start-ups/remote/decentralized/unstructured environments
• Not afraid to roll the sleeves up and execute in the weeds
