We are looking for a Web3 Researcher to play a key role in exploring and advancing the frontiers of knowledge in the field of blockchain protocols, and different Web3 related technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to drive research initiatives and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in the Web3 space.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct in-depth research on Web3 technologies, blockchain protocols, and dApps.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements, academic papers, and industry trends in the field of blockchain and Web3.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and priorities.
  • Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analysis to explore and evaluate innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement novel algorithms, models, and methodologies to address technical challenges in the blockchain space.
  • Analyze and interpret data to derive meaningful insights and contribute to the development of new products and features.
  • Publish research findings in academic journals, conference papers, and tech blogs.
  • Contribute to open-source projects and actively engage with the blockchain research community.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Web3, ZK or distributed systems.
  • Strong technical background and deep understanding of blockchain technology, Web3 protocols.
  • Track record of conducting research in the blockchain field, demonstrated through academic publications or industry contributions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in the blockchain ecosystem, such as Solidity, Rust, or Go.
  • Experience with blockchain platforms and frameworks, such as Ethereum, Polkadot, or Cosmos.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic protocols, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and think critically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas and research findings.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Passion for blockchain technology and a desire to contribute to the advancement of the Web3 ecosystem.
