About the role

We are looking for a Research Analyst (Investment Strategy) to join our Research and Insights Team covering blockchains technology, DeFi, Layer 1 & Layer 2 solutions, NFTs, GameFi and Metaverse topics. The ideal candidate should have the ability to conduct independent research to compile reports with unique insights. To succeed in this role, candidates should have well-rounded knowledge in finance, economics, technology, data analysis, and cryptocurrencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop investment thesis to guide digital assets investment strategy (yield farming and trending tokens) to institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals
• Provide daily crypto market update, keeping track of market sentiment and key events to watch out for
• Conduct research on topics such as DeFi, Layer 1 & Layer 2 solutions, NFTs, GameFi and Metaverse, and compile reports for external publications
• Suggest research topics and review peers’ articles and articles contributed through our crypto.com Research Wizard programme
• Liaise with external research partners, including media, consulting firms, and academia

• Fluent in English
• Solid experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL, Glassnode, CoinMetrics, etc.

• Ready to work independently and remotely (from any location) in an Asian time zone (ideally)

• With a Master’s, or PhD degree from a reputable university (PhD is preferred)

• With hands-on experience of Google Drive, Google Doc, etc

• [PLUS] With hands-on experiences in using Dune analytics and Nansen

• [PLUS] Experienced in Research, TradFi, Cryptocurrencies, or Consulting

• [PLUS] Passion/Experience (user experience) in blockchain applications is preferred
