Rust Developer for developing a blockchain network as a Co-Founder

Brix's Mission is to fill the gaping holes in the global economy, and create a bettwer and more connected world.

Brix provides developers with everything they need to design, create, and deploy a website or app that accepts cryptocurrency payments from anywhere in the world.

Brix believes that open payment networks enable universal participation in the financial system, ushering in a new digital economy with truly borderless money transfers. Brix leverages Bitcoin’s and is currently developing its own open payment network to offer users the first global peer-to-peer payments app and a novel bitcoin-native neobanking experience.

Role:
Brix is looking for developers who have experience in building robust, scalable and secure systems. You will be joining a very new startup in the Bitcoin and fintech space focused on building the necessary components to support crypto-currency's main stream adoption.

You will work directly with our CEO and other members on some of the most challenging, complex, and high-visibility areas of the company. You will work cross-functionally with our product, engineering, and operations department in order to deliver best in class solutions for developing an open-source blockchain network.

We're looking for a hire that will grow with the company and is excited about Brix's mission and potential. The person joining us must be comfortable with team-first approach in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other members to develop and ship features
• Design, build, and maintain our Blockchain network.
• Write efficient, modular, and reusable libraries and abstractions
• Design and build internal tooling to improve development efficiency
• Find and solve performance issues
• Participate in code reviews
• Communicate best practices to the team

Requirements:

• You enjoy difficult engineering challenges and are passionate about programming
• You have at least 1 years of recent experience with Rust
• You are self-driven and self-motivated
• You enjoy working both collaboratively and independently

Additional Qualifications:

• Bitcoin experience
• Bitcoin Core contributions
• Experience with Go, JS, C++
• Run and manage your own Bitcoin and Lightning Network nodes
