At ConsenSys Product Technology, we work closely with the Office of the CTO on global initiatives to design, develop and deploy solutions that create real business value. We work as an agile, globally integrated team of approximately 150 engineers, designers, consultants, architects, scrum masters and program managers.

The role

Due to the continual growth and success across our pillars of business, we are looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at ConsenSys you will join a world class technical team with state of the art expertise in various technologies. This role will focus on supporting the team with defining and implementing DevSecOps best practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the delivery of consistent DevSecOps best practices across the organisation.
• Develop and manage software solutions  to help increase the velocity of the development teams.
• Assist organization security team with their DevSecOps requirements and defining best practices.

On a daily basis you will be part of an agile, often multinational team supporting the development teams to increase the velocity of the software development.

Job requirements

• 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering/DevOps role on Linux/Unix Systems
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers and scaling secure infrastructures with no Single Point of Failure
• Expertise with configuring GitHub and use of GitHub actions
• Expertise with a cloud environment such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with infrastructure automation such as Ansible and Terraform
• Understanding of the GitOps practices
• You should have experience working in an agile software development environment
• Expertise with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and ELK (or equivalent)
• Experience with DevSecOps tools for code scanning, vulnerability scanning, dependency scanning and container image scanning

Nice to have

• Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
• Knowledge in deploying blockchain infrastructures

Location and work environment

At ConsenSys Professional Services, we do our best to allow team members to work remotely, however this is not always possible when working on Enterprise client projects. We strive to take into account the personal circumstances of our team members, and in return we ask for your understanding and flexibility.

We have physical offices in New York, Dublin, London, Paris and Hong Kong. Some of our team members work from home in other countries and cities.

Occasional travel will be required for client meetings, and some projects may require being at the client’s location. On average this happens 20% of the time, but this can vary depending on the project and period.

To be employed in a country, you need to have an existing employment visa and speak the local language fluently.
