Web3 Senior Financial Analyst

Bittrex, the leading blockchain technology provider and cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support Bittrex’s lending business. The Senior Financial Analyst will be the product owner for Bittrex’s lending risk management function. Responsibilities will include developing and managing Bittrex’s risk management program enabling Bittrex to scale its lending business. This position is located in Seattle, WA / remote.

Responsibilities:

• Perform credit due diligence of prospective lending clients
• Develop metrics to evaluate overall portfolio risk e.g., internal credit ratings & risk-based limits
• Build financial models to evaluate deal economics of potential lending deals
• Provide recommendations for new lending offers and lending counterparties

Requirements:

• Two (2) years of credit risk management experience.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently on a regular basis
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or similar
• Greater consideration will be given to those applicants who can demonstrate the following:Experience manipulating large data sets with SQL
• Previous experience with different types of statistical and machine learning models/methodologies used in the financial industry: multi-factor models, time series models, logistic/linear regression models, etc.
• Master's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or other quantitative discipline
• Experience with cryptocurrencies
