Web3 Smart Contract Developer

Smart Contract Developer | Remote

We’re looking for an experienced EVM Smart Contract Developer to build and scale high-load DeFi products with real TVL in production. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands EVM internals, gas mechanics, and modern Web3 infrastructure, and is ready to own smart contracts from architecture to mainnet.

About the Role:
You’ll design, develop, and maintain production-grade EVM smart contracts powering DeFi protocols with real value locked. From low-level EVM architecture and gas optimization to integrations with lending protocols, bridges, and account abstraction. You’ll be responsible for shipping secure, scalable contracts used by thousands of users. You’ll work closely with backend, product, and security teams, participate in architecture decisions, and help launch and scale complex on-chain systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deploy EVM smart contracts with production TVL

• Optimize contracts for gas efficiency, storage layout, and execution costs

• Implement upgradeable architectures using proxy patterns and multisig governance

• Integrate DeFi protocols (lending, DEXes, staking), ideally including Aave

• Work with oracles (Chainlink, Pyth) and understand liquidation and collateral mechanics

• Implement and maintain security best practices (reentrancy protection, access control, overflow prevention)

• Build and test contracts using Foundry and Hardhat

• Collaborate with backend teams (Python / TypeScript) for on-chain off-chain integrations

• Implement gasless flows and Account Abstraction (ERC-2771, EIP-712, EIP-4337, OpenGSN)

• Work with cross-chain solutions and bridges (including CCIP and similar protocols)

• Participate in audits, fix vulnerabilities, and improve protocol resilience

• 3+ years of professional EVM smart contract development

• Deep understanding of EVM architecture, memory model, and gas mechanics

• Proven production experience with TVL in deployed contracts

• Strong knowledge of upgradeable contracts, proxy patterns, and multisig setups

• Hands-on experience with Foundry and Hardhat

• Solid understanding of DeFi protocols, especially lending (liquidations, collateral, interest models)

• Experience with oracles (Chainlink, Pyth)

• Strong background in smart contract security and audit readiness

• Experience with Account Abstraction and gasless transactions

• Experience with bridges and cross-chain messaging (CCIP is a plus)

• Backend experience in Python and/or TypeScript
