Team Description

The Sui Ecosystem team is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager & Copywriter with a passion for Web3 and community engagement. In this role, you will lead the charge in managing social media accounts, crafting impactful copy, and driving growth strategies across Twitter (X), Discord, Reddit, and emerging platforms. You will collaborate closely with the broader Sui community to amplify content, foster engagement, and grow the ecosystem's digital presence.

Role Description

The ideal candidate thrives in the fast-paced Web3 environment, combining a knack for creating engaging content with a strategic approach to social media management. As the Social Media Manager & Copywriter, you’ll oversee day-to-day platform activities, write compelling copy tailored to Web3 audiences, and develop innovative strategies for community growth. You’ll also drive paid campaigns, manage content calendars, and explore creative opportunities to expand Sui’s presence across various channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media platforms including Twitter (X), Discord, Reddit, and others, ensuring consistent engagement and growth.

• Proactively engage with projects and communities within the Sui ecosystem to foster collaboration and engagement.

• Execute paid ad campaigns and identify opportunities for sponsored community operations, such as Quests, to drive follower growth.

• Launch and grow new social media channels, including TikTok and Instagram, to reach diverse audiences.

• Act as the point of contact (POC) for retweet requests and Ambassador amplification initiatives.

• Monitor and collect key headlines and news updates to inform the community and inspire content ideas.

• Identify and pursue community swap opportunities to increase reach and visibility.

• Create and share memes and other fun, engaging content that resonates with the Web3 audience.

• Manage and maintain a content calendar, ensuring coverage of all relevant topics.

• Oversee weekly news prompts and highlight important updates to engage the community.

• Write and maintain a community blog with an SEO-driven strategy to maximize visibility and impact.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing social media for Web3 or technology-focused projects.

• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging posts, blogs, and ad copy tailored to Web3 audiences.

• Knowledge of paid ad campaigns, community operations, and sponsorship opportunities.

• Familiarity with social media management tools and techniques for follower growth.

• Creative approach to content creation, including memes and engagement campaigns.

• Experience managing content calendars and coordinating with internal/external teams.

• Understanding of Web3 communities and platforms, including Twitter, Discord, and Reddit.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching and managing new social platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram).

• Familiarity with SEO strategies and best practices for blogs and web content.

• Understanding of Web3 growth tactics, including quests, sponsorships, and community swaps.

• Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and decentralized ecosystems.
