Social Media Marketing and Community Manager, web3

Neeva.xyz is Neeva’s web3 Search Engine. It scours the blockchain to provide a delightful and fast search experience for both crypto natives and those new to the space. We are looking for a talented hands-on social media marketer to build neeva.xyz's social media presence and engage with our community on Twitter and Discord. This is a temp to possible perm role.

Core responsibilities:

• Develop neeva.xyz's social media presence from the ground up
• Engage w/community on Twitter and Discord
• Contribute to growth efforts for neeva.xyz and our mobile app
• Track and measure success of individual posts and campaigns to iteratively apply learnings to channel improvements
• Find, create and recommend compelling material that's performance optimized by channel
• Build engaging, comprehensive campaigns with call-to-actions that align with brand goals for neeva.xyz and Neeva’s mobile app efforts
• Create and test new tactics for our social media platforms, iterating based on fresh data

Specific things this person will be doing:

• Create, stage, and deploy compelling campaigns, specifically on Twitter and Discord
• Make suggestions for new methods to reach out to current and potential community members
• Provide reports on the performance of organic campaigns as well as recommendations based on findings
• Identify relevant insights from social performance and community interactions; determine how these insights will help drive innovation
• Track trends, social platforms, campaigns, and content to keep tabs on the web3 social scene
• Create social media strategy while being responsive and proactive on owned channels
• Help build the Neeva community program (levels, forums, moderation)

Must-haves:

• Excited by Neeva’s mission and marketing’s role in making Neeva successful
• Excited about crypto and web3 (but conscious of the good and bad of every tech)
• Ability and enthusiasm to understand/learn, describe, and explain a technically complex product in a technically sophisticated space
• Undeterred by quick turnaround times and trying new things
• Data orientation and drive to continuously increase impact social efforts
• Excellent general written and oral communication skills
• Detail driven, creative, and a collaborative teammate

Nice-to-haves:

• Ability to develop and track metrics related to lead conversion and customer engagement
• Dabbled in web3 communities
• Crypto-native and fluent
• Experience understanding community dynamics, especially with DAOs
• Has experience using Sprinklr or other related content management tools.

Should not have:

• Diffidence to collaborate
• Hesitation about difficult situations
• Fear of technical subjects
• Poor written communication skills
• A dislike for crypto/web3
